El Gobierno descarta la propuesta de un bono trimestral para Carabineros, optando por medidas diferentes a las propuestas por la institución

Propuesta de incentivo laboral presentada por Carabineros es descartada por el Ministerio del Interior

El Gobierno, liderado por el Ministerio del Interior, ha desestimado la propuesta de un bono trimestral presentada por Carabineros. A pesar de que el Presidente Boric se comprometió a estudiar la entrega de un bono incentivo al desempeño de la función de Carabineros durante la conmemoración de los 97 años de la institución, el Ejecutivo ha decidido tomar medidas en una dirección distinta a las propuestas en el documento entregado por la institución.

La propuesta de Carabineros planteaba la entrega de una asignación trimestral calculada en base al 65% del sueldo en posesión. Este bono beneficiaría a 50 mil funcionarios, incluyendo personal uniformado, de planta y personal contratado por resolución, siempre y cuando hayan prestado servicios en la institución al menos un año y mantengan una participación laboral efectiva durante el trimestre previo al pago de la asignación.

El director general, Ricardo Yáñez, expresó en Meganoticias: “Yo quiero decir que tengan la tranquilidad de que nosotros ya hicimos una propuesta, presentamos un proyecto de una asignación laboral de los carabineros, trimestral, que en el fondo tiene que ser analizada obviamente por otro estamento, pero ya fue entregada a la autoridad”. Sin embargo, el Ministerio del Interior considera “improcedente” el pago de incentivos monetarios por menor ausentismo laboral, argumentando que una menor presentación de licencias médicas por parte de los funcionarios podría suponer que estas “no serían verdaderas”, con lo que el bono se convertiría en un “premio por no violar la ley”.
