Estudiantes Municipales Aprenden Tenis Gratis: Convenio con Club de Tenis Mundial

Los estudiantes de establecimientos municipales de La Calera tendrán la oportunidad de aprender a jugar al tenis de forma gratuita gracias a un convenio colaborativo con el Club de Tenis Mundial. Esta iniciativa busca promover la igualdad de oportunidades en el acceso a iniciativas deportivas

Iniciativa de Igualdad de Oportunidades en Deportes para Jóvenes de La Calera

En el desafío de fortalecer la educación pública de la comuna y que los niños, niñas y jóvenes tengan igualdad de oportunidades en el acceso a iniciativas deportivas, la Municipalidad de La Calera firmó un convenio de colaboración con el Club de Tenis Mundial, organización que cuenta con más de 35 años de trayectoria.

Esta alianza de trabajo en conjunto que da inicio al Torneo Palta Bowl, está dirigida a alumnos que cursan desde quinto a octavo básico e incluye el uso gratuito de las dependencias del club de tenis mundial, el desarrollo de torneos y capacitaciones a los docentes de educación física.

El administrador municipal, Francisco Larraguibel, en representación del alcalde de La Calera, destacó esta iniciativa “estamos muy contentos porque hemos celebrado un convenio colaborativo con el Club de Tenis Mundial, el Departamento de Educación y la Oficina Municipal de Deportes, que va a permitir a nuestros niños, niñas y jóvenes de la comuna acceder a la práctica del tenis de forma gratuita”.

El directivo agregó “debemos destacar que uno de los ejes de nuestro gobierno comunal, es incentivar el deporte en sus diversas disciplinas y en este caso en aprender a jugar tenis con los estudiantes de nuestros establecimientos municipales”.

En dependencias del Club de Tenis Mundial, se selló este compromiso de trabajo articulado, contando con la asistencia de Concejales, el Jefe (s) DAEM La Calera, Eduardo López, el Encargado de la Oficina Municipal de Deportes, Cristian Meneses, el fundador del Club Tenis Mundial, Fernando Toro, directores de establecimientos educacionales, docentes y alumnos beneficiados con esta iniciativa.

 

Mónica Toro, dueña del Club de Tenis Mundial, señaló la importancia de que la empresa privada y pública aúnen esfuerzos para apoyar en la formación de los estudiantes de la comuna

“nosotros teníamos la inquietud hace mucho tiempo de realizar este trabajo colaborativo e ir en beneficio de los niños y niñas de la comuna, creemos que ellos tiene el derecho de poder practicar este deporte, que por tanto tiempo fue llamado el deporte de élite y que deseamos ahora que todos los niños tengan acceso a practicarlo”.
