Aumento del 16% en la venta de permisos de circulación en Valparaíso en 2024

Valparaíso vio un aumento del 16% en la venta de permisos de circulación en 2024, con un total de 57.575 permisos vendidos. Los fondos recaudados se destinan a mejoras municipales, beneficiando no solo a Valparaíso, sino también a otros municipios.

Recaudación récord destinada a mejoras municipales

$798.620.354 millones más que el 2023, recaudó la Municipalidad de Valparaíso, a través del proceso de permiso de circulación que anualmente deben pagar los propietarios de vehículos motorizados.

En total, son $5.571.078.291 recaudados, lo que corresponde a 57.575 permisos girados, es decir, casi 7.500 más que el año pasado.

Eso es parte de los montos que el municipio debe destinar al Fondo Común Municipal, lo que beneficia no sólo al municipio porteño, sino que también, a otros municipios que están dentro de esta distribución de recursos.

Alejandro Escobar, alcalde (s) de Valparaíso, explica que: “Los fondos recaudados con el permiso de circulación nos permiten financiar distintas tareas y actividades del municipio, como obras de mejoramiento de aceras, calzadas, mejoramiento de luminarias y de espacios públicos, así como también mejorar nuestros servicios y atenciones. En general, nos permite generar mejores obras y mejorar las condiciones urbanas para aquellos automovilistas que usan nuestras calles con frecuencia”.

En tanto, Nicolás Guzmán, administrador municipal (s), manifestó que: “Este es un proceso que inició en febrero y tuvimos varios puntos de recaudación en Mercado Puerto, en Mall Paseo Ross, en Placilla de Peñuelas y en nuestro edificio de la Avenida Argentina. Aumentamos nuestros puntos físicos con sucursales en Jumbo Av Argentina, Santa Isabel Placilla y Santa Isabel Agua Santa. En términos generales, evaluamos que fue un proceso exitoso a nivel de ingresos y la atención que pudimos brindar a la comunidad, tanto presencial como online”.

Guzmán agregó que: “Tenemos en cuenta que mucha gente se trasladó de otras ciudades para pagar en nuestra comuna, así que extendemos los agradecimientos a los porteños y porteñas que confiaron en el municipio de Valparaíso como su municipalidad para hacer el pago de permiso de circulación”.
